Assessments conform with the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) E1527-21, Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I Environmental Site Assessment process and also will satisfy the requirements set forth in 40 CFR Part 312 of the Federal Registry: Standards and Practices for All Appropriate Inquiries to identify conditions and potential adverse impact of a site to determine environmental and financial risk to any property. Performed when a client is purchasing, refinancing or redeveloping property.
Transaction Screens conform with the guidelines published by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) E1528-22, Standard Practice for Limited Environmental Due Diligence: Transaction Screen Process to identify conditions and potential adverse impacts within a site to make a determination whether a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment is warranted. Small Business Administration (SBA) Records Search with Risk Assessment (RSRA) reports to aid lenders when in-depth assessments are not required. Tier 1 Vapor Encroachment Screens pursuant to ASTM E 2600-22 to evaluate potential vapor migration and encroachment in the subsurface. PHASE II ENVIRONMENTAL INVESTIGATIONS
Phase II Environmental Site Investigations which can consist of soil and/or groundwater water sampling and analysis are performed when required as a follow-up to Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, or as an independent client-defined assessment, to determine the scope and extent of potential or known contaminants.
These Phase II Environmental Site Investigations can be comprised of a single sample location to a full site characterization. |
ASBESTOS INSPECTIONS
Various asbestos-containing products remain legal for sale and installation today and can conduct asbestos inspections following several protocols.
Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) inspections are required to be performed on school buildings when assumed or confirmed asbestos containing building materials are present. An initial inspection is provided for new buildings or older buildings when proper documentation is lost or no longer available. Three (3) year re-inspections are routinely provided to ensure compliance with AHERA. AHERA inspections are typically non-intrusive and sampling may, or may not, be performed depending on the client's needs. National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) inspections are performed when an area or structure is scheduled for remodeling or demolition. Destructive sampling is performed on all suspect material to identify all asbestos containing building material in an area or structure. Client-defined targeted asbestos inspection and sampling for specific material and/or areas/structures. |

LEAD IN WATER TESTING
Lead in Water Testing can be performed on commercial and residential properties.
